The agreement combines Purple Rhombus’ production-focused UAS designs with Hughes Bros.’ aerospace manufacturing expertise to support scalable production for U.S. and allied defense customers
TEXAS (August 12, 2026) – Purple Rhombus, an aerospace and defense company focused on industrial-scale affordable mass, today announced a strategic manufacturing agreement with Hughes Bros. Aircrafters to support scalable production of Purple Rhombus unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).
Under the agreement, Hughes Bros. will provide production engineering, tooling, fabrication, and related manufacturing support across Purple Rhombus UAS programs.
The relationship combines Purple Rhombus’ design-for-manufacture approach with Hughes Bros.’ decades of aerospace manufacturing experience to move aircraft designs efficiently into repeatable, high-rate production.
